Why do they insist in keeping the leading drum? I feel kind of sad because in the good ol' days of cafe racers - you build one as a performance enhancement bike. Triumph motors married to norton frame with upgraded brakes. The shocks were upgraded (im a bit of a fan of Koni's myself).....but overall it was done to go faster, handle better. When did it become just a beauty pagent?
It all started in the 50's with the rockers modifying and racing classic brit iron. Now over 50 years later Cafe Racer popularity is at it's peak. Modern Cafe Racers deliver awesome performance and look the business. If you're in to Cafe Racers here's the place to get some inspiration to start building your own modern Cafe Racer.
